Doctor Louis Canella is a seventy-three-year-old retired psychiatrist who graduated from the University of Toronto School of Medicine. His life-long interests in physics, chemistry, biology, psychology, philosophy, and religion led him to specialize in psychiatry, allowing him to make the best use of what he had learned to help his patients with their physical, psychological, and spiritual difficulties. In applying that knowledge base to deal with real-life situations and people in their suffering, he facilitated the marrying of science and religion. All Creation, Loved into Existence was written in order to broadly share some of what he has learned about the human condition in relation to God.
